Barbara loved fury things. She helped out at the YMCA bring and buy sales. One time she bought a real fox fur collar. When she took it home her mother wouldn’t allow her to have it in the house and told her to throw it away. In order to keep it Barbara hid the fox fur in the coal house. She nearly gave her mother a heart attack when she came across it one night. It had glass eyes that lit up in the dark and her mother thought it was a wild animal.
